Is there any Rx-7's in or near new orleans. I've been here for almost six months and seen nothing. I am bringing my FD up from Miami in a few weeks and am looking for others around here with the rotary.

 

I'm not in New Orleans per say, but Bay St. Louis is pretty close. There are a few of us rotary people on the MS gulf coast. See the other thread I have about doing a cruise soon!

 

When I was living in new orleans, I met quite a few. They don't really come out much though. I saw them at their house, and actually just stopped in and introduced myself. Good Luck.

 

Zonblitz is near NO and goes there often...he has a nice FD that was featured in modified magazine. Also there is a import face off race at noproblem raceway in bell rose in feb 28...I will have mine there and usually brings a few out

 

i'm in metairie. With the lakefront closed down at night, most of us don't come out. we try to do meets. I'm always looking for someone to cruise with.

 

Wow. They close the lakefront down at night now? I guess Sevens on the Shore isn't around anymore?

 

Speaking of Lakefront, I'm really pumped about the lakefront meet this year! I'll actually be able to go!

 

Yeah no problem raceway is cool.. Eat them boudain *****. lol Or maybe some pickled quail eggs from the gas station down the rd. LOL Do the imports race the drag or the track?

 

Trout2 and internal comsucktion are both in NO also. I am located across the lake with Zonblitz and Leonard (forgot his forum name).

I am less than 5 mins from the lakefront and it sucks that you cannot cruise the lakefront at night anymore. Its an outrage. Maybe the new Mayor will change the rule.

hey, does anyone know a good place to get parts for an FC in the area. I have only been able to find one at the local pull-a-part, and it arrived mostly gutted

 

I saw some in the local PUll-a-Part in harvey a while back. Check there website to see if they are still in inventory(its well kept). I have a few misc parts here and there at my house. PM and let me know what you might need.
