need engine work asap, but where?

need engine work asap, but where?

i'm in the army and live in tennessee, i came to oklahoma for christmas and my engine is shot. i'm stranded here and only have one week until i have to report back. does anyone know of any place i can get my engine rebuilt asap in northeast oklahoma? (i.e. tulsa) i have a '93 rx7. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well i dont no in OK, but if there is anyway to get it to the Dallas area you have 2 good places to take it, Rx7.com and Gotham.

I bet they could hook you up with a new motor PDQ...

Try the two forums below, there are a couple people on there who may know. I think there was a shop in OKC doing some rebuilds but that was awhile back and I can't remember the name off hand. I'd say you best bet is to get it to Dallas or find a way to borrow/buy a truck and tow it back home. You can usually change your reporting date or take extended leave or something, just call your boss and tell them your situation.

Try and find Brad's number on the rotary rendezvous site. He is the guy in OKC doing rebuilds.
