That does suck Damon. Sounds like some good advice above. I know the pain first hand. My first RX got backed into by a semi truck when it had 700 miles on it. Don't ask how long ago that was. A lot of you weren't around yet.

Damon,

what's the current scoop? Is the car still there or at a body shop? What did the insurance adjusters say?

I finally have gotten all the city's ducks in a row Friday afternoon so I can get the car into the shop. I had company in town this weekend so haven't done anything yet. I'm hoping to meet with Martin at Millennium Autoworks but I don't know if I can get out there today. We close on the new house tomorrow and move this weekend. Busy, busy.

Actually my car has already caught on fire once...

The left side of the car was side swiped while parked in the road a few years back. Had an engine fire on the way to MSR a few years ago as well and now the carport fell on top of my car after being massaged by a city garbage truck. 3 comprehensive insurance claims since I've had the car and not a one of them was due to me crashing into something!
