So,

I just got word that I am moving to Austin. I should be there in two weeks starting a new job. I am totally stoked and wanted to share. If anybody wants to invite me to any parties let me know. I am going to be bored b/c the wife and kid are not coming down for another 4 months

Um...I think i will be up in North Austin. I will be staying at my Grandparents place till i find somewhere to live. They are at 183 and 35.

welcome! 183 and 35 is right by my friend's car audio shop, it's also right by Bikini's where we hold our monthly meets, if you want to meet some of the other owners around here check out our site at www.texasrxs.org, we do drives and hang out and such almost every weekend every month

 

I didnt even know there was a texas Rx meet.....

 

heck yeah, every first wednesday of the month at the Bikini's bar/grill, we have reserved spots out front and one of the front patios reserved, meetings start at 6:30, usually go for a few hours as it's not just our club meeting, but a chance to hang out, meet other owners, score some grub/beer etc.

 

I wish I could make it this Wednesday..... I have school until 5:30, and theres no way I could make it over there during rush hour. I dont even Drive the 7 anymore! The Fd is close to running once I sell the Fc

 

Are you North or South? The meeting place has been changed to Bone Daddy's, way north 183 near Duval (I think)

 

yep, 183/duval on the feeder across 183 from Rudy's,covert ford etc etc.

 

I was watching Channel 8 news and they advertised "Rotary Car Club meet" or something like that for next Thursday

 

wha..really? I wonder if we have some comp now? We're the only "rotary" club in town as far as I know, unless someone else is trying to get something started up, and our meetings are every frist wednesday

 

Hmmm well it said The 11th of this month. And Im almost positive it said at "Bone Daddys" Not quite sure though

 

hmmmm, very interesting, I may have to go by there after work and see what the deal is.
