The lack of lounge is killing me at work.

Its a slow day and I should be catching up on some papers I need to write for class... but I miss my BAW action .

My English class is retarded. I have to write a 3-page paper (not a big deal in itself) but then I have to write a paper about the paper I just wrote.

WTF?!

We have to write an argument that is an "emotional argument" for us. Meaning she doesn't want a list of statistics, but stuff that is personal experience.

Then the paper we write about that paper is critiquing our own work, listing what we need to improve on.

If I'm writing what I need to improve... shouldn't I fix those before turning in the paper?

I've been out of school for about 5 years now. Most of my class is filled with people right out of high school. We wrote a "diagnostic writing" paper so the professor could evaluate where our writing skills are.

The recent grads, all their "learning" still fresh in their minds, scored between 66 and 75 percent.

I got a 98 percent, losing points on stupid spelling mistakes.

The professor is new to teaching college, and is used to teaching high school. It shows. She actually gives out gold stars for good behavior .

So much for higher learning.

I'd rather a 240z than a 280zx.

Anything's better than a Ranger.

It made me sad though, a guy I worked with traded in his NICE condition 280z for $500 off his new car. It was like an arrow through my heart. :P

I can honestly say though I see the appeal of a v8 engine now. After unloading the damn thing and putting it in the garage, it gives this weird feeling. :P I need to finish the Rx7.

Oh, I think that's an early 300z, isn't it? Or was that the 2nd 280z? If you get one, you ought to go J-spec on the mirrors and put them way out there on the nose.

Yeah, the last one is the 300zx. For some reason I thought the "..zx" designation meant that droopy popup look, and the "...z" designation was the sleek and sexy look of the 240z.

Z's are heavy cars. They look like they'd be a lot of fun, though.
