Mark,
I am definitely interested. I think the sooner the plans come together the better. I also met a guy from Mississippi who owns a 3rd Gen, and he is definitely interested in getting together as well. I told him I would give him a call as soon as I heard something.

Got a Turbonetics T62 coming in on Pony Express...........yes...............blew another Turbo Straight up !! No oil issues this time. The POS turbo just couldn't handle the RPM's this time. No telling where the parts came from that went into this last turbo that lasted only 6 months.
This new turbo is warrantied for a year..........no questions asked through TUrbonetics. With this new turbo going on.................Time for some Summer Tuning !!!
Memorial Weekend plans to be ironed out by the weekend.

Jack - I like the idea of Audubon Park for cool shade and ambiance. Can we bbq there? What day? Possibly something on Sat. at my house and something on Sunday in New Orleans?
You, Ted, and myself can organize something and spread the word out for a good turnout for our bash......
Ted, we'll get that turbo swapped out. Want to get it in soon to make sure we have enough time to quickly resolve any swapping issues that may arise - like downpipe fitment or oil plumbing.

I'm motivated and am re-finishing the door covers - wet sanding the plastic armrests w/ 400 and 600 grit and will spray them probably today.
You have three FDs still?

Ted says Steve Kan will come here for Memorial day and tune if we get five or more people. Although this is a little hasty, we need two more people who are ready to tune. As of now 454 Dyno in Metairie is completely available for Saturday May 28th. Steve also street-tunes.
Jack - have ya got a cool, grassy, shady place picked out? The park sounds great!

Man I wish I could come. I have plans to go to Austin already. I miss all the fun stuff.
Ted- what kind of turbo did you blow up? I am in the market for one so I want to make sure I stay away from " the six month turbo".

I'll go I haven't met any of you guys yet. But my car has a big dent in the fender and a scraped bumper from the jackass that sideswipped my car . It won't look as good as it did unless the parts come in before Memorial day (I doubt it), but I'm game.

My email is dabigesii7385@bellsouth.net . I still live right down the street from you on Henican and Ithaca, my car is usually covered up. I saw your car the yesterday with the hood open at your house, I was thinking about stopping by while coming home. I was in the FD just trying to keep the engine alive while waiting for my body parts.

For May 28th, Saturday - Ted, Jack, Phil, Frank, Art, myself, and others will be grilling at my house at 12 noon in Houma. Wives, G/Fs, friends, everyone is welcome. Phil, aka Herblenny, will have DVDs and photos of the April Deal's Gap event he organized.
If we get Steve Kan down here, we can tune in Houma [we have some get places] or in Metairie at 454 Dyno.
For May 29th, Sunday - we'll take over a brew pub for lunch [although we may cookout in Audubon Park] and then cruise Uptown, French Quarter, and Lakefront.
These are the tentative plans.

In addition to our special guest Herblenny, I may soon announce another special guest/forum celebrity.
Don't be afraid to drive a few hours to come to Sevens on the Shore event for good food, socializing with fellow rotorheads, and making new friends. The more who attend, the better this GTG gets.
