TX Looking for FD owners in Austin!

I have been working with a wheel manufacturer in the Austin / Pflugerville area to design a custom wheel specifically for the FD.

The company will be making a CAD model of the FD wheel well in order to accurately fit various sizes / offsets of wheels based on specific vehicle requirements (TQ, gear ration, rolling radius, etc.).

Considering this, being that I am based in CA, I am looking for someone with a stock body / fender FD in the Austin / Pflugerville area to provide the base measurements for the model.

As only measurements will be necessary, there will be absolutely no adverse affects to the car. The process should take no longer than a 1/2 day and I will provide compensation for your time.

The manufacturer would like to get the car in before the end of the month.

Please PM / call (661.400.0304) me directly for details.

Thanks in advance for your help!

-Dustin

Thanks, Unek! If you happen to know anyone in the area with an FD, I would really appreciate if you could provide them with my information.

The company is called Finspeed. They recently moved from Moberly, MO.
Again, I am willing to compensate for time and travel!

Really appreciate any help here!

Thanks for offering, Guys! Jonathan (kidloco) and I were able to get everything figured out. I will provide more details on the final setup once installed. Thanks again, Jonathan!

No problem! It was pretty cool meeting the guys at Finspeed. They got some amazing machines down there for R&D.

Any updates or pics of the wheels yet? Looking to spice up the look of a stock set of wheels with something unique and looking for options. How did yours turn out?

In fact, I just received the wheels on Friday afternoon!

Here are a few pictures of the process as well as the finished product.

Sizes are 18X9 - 255/35 and 18X10.5 - 295/30. Tires are Advan AD08 R.

Enjoy!

Unfortunately I am right in the middle of moving so, they went right back into their boxes for now...

The final color is the satin grey that you see in the last two pictures. The do offer a number of different finishes, including black powder coat, if that is what you are asking.
