I need someone to look at my car and tell me whether or not my vehicles was actually rebuilt or just slapped together with old used parts. Can you point me in the right direction?

 

All "rebuilt"engines have some used parts in them.

Really depends how picky your builder was when they rebuilt the engine.

If the health of your engine is keeping you up at night, have it properly compression tested.

There isn't too much else you can tell from inspecting the outside of the engine. If you tear apart your rebuilt engine to see what it was rebuilt with then - ummm you will have to rebuild your rebuilt engine again.

 

Cool, thanks! Yeah I need to compression test her because she's just not running all of a sudden. This suxs yet again, wish I had found a legit person for a good complete rebuild all internals!

 

if it was running, I'd do it for a case of Lone Star.
