Legal Question???
Its legal, I dont believe there are any ordinances against it, but uh...other than the massive weight reduction why would you? Any retard with a 10mm and a phillips could strip your car down to nothing. I dont think its too smart, but as far as i know, its perfectly legal.
my only reason for not puttin it back is that i keep takin it off to work on the car not to mention i know i have blown coolant seals so runnin it without a hood will help it run a good bit cooler
I would say go nuts with it then, but just be careful where you park it like that. Most people wont do anything, but there are those people around that would just love to yank a hose off, just to screw with you. soon as you finish doing your work for a while though (1 or 2 week break) put the hood back on.
