LA Rotorheads....an ALL RX-BBQ - April 1st 2007
Well it was great meeting those of you who made it to our BBQ today, thanks for coming! Two of you I didn't actually meet, I realized as you drove away, lol. There were def some nice rotaries on Ave E. today! Now I want an FD even more than I did on yesterday!
Thanks to Mike & Connie for hosting this event at their home and thanks to Don Ducote Mazda and Racing beat for the cool giveaways!
The winners of the five personalized 1986 RX7 Bonneville Land Speed Record models were John S., Jack C., Edward S., Leonard C. and Mike S. I will send Racing Beat your info tomorrow and they will ship these out directly to you.
Hope to see you all again sometime...

You're welcomed Leonard and everyone else.
So, does anyone plan on making that Lakefront Meet?
Here are some pics John (skwidd from RX8Club.com) took today. Your cars are awesome guys! The Sebring was hot, too Stephen ;-)

Sorry I missed this one guys, I wasnt going to chace the weather with the rubber I have on the car...I will make it to the next one though. Im even thinking of going to the lakefront meet on the 29th.
That's one good looking Sebring! Haha.
Sorry, I missed it, guys. My dad and I were too busy getting rained on in Houston.
I'm glad to see Kenny out there holding it down for the FB guys. Maybe one day my FB will be out of my driveway and on the road.

All the pics look great, looks like a really fun meet
.
I noticed in the engine bay pic of the red FD, the owner *really* needs to fix their ducting. The tiny stock ic is barely adequate as-is, when you handicap it's ducting of fresh air like that you're asking for trouble........

^^lol, yes "he" does. "He" also needs a new IC IMO, a bigger one, lol.
Sorry I couldn't make it, it was raining at my house at 3:30 so I thought it was raining everywhere. Guess I was wrong, it doesn't even look wet in those pics.

Hahaha yeah...I do need to clean up my engine bay and put in my new intercooler( whenever I fabb up some pipes to come off the efini y-pipe. I'm surprised my car looks pretty decent in the far away pic of it lol. The meet was fun, I enjoyed myself. It was nice meeting everyone. I just recieved my racing beat model...badass I'm going to have to put it together now (I'm excited) Hopefully I see all yall again soon.
Sorry I couldn't make it. I had to work. I would have come in the stang though. I can't afford a rotary right now, I can barely afford my gas guzzling ford. I will def. make the next meet.
