Hi everyone.

Some of my Z friends are putting together a general car show/meet and we've been invited! It's on April 29th at noon 'til whenever at the Lakefront.

I'm down and a few 8's are going as well. Who else is in?

are you sure they're (cops) allowing that out there...I guess I should ask what part of the lakefront?? I'll be there if school doesn't get in the way...I'll check in closer to the date.

 

Well unless there's loud music, racing, burnouts, fighting, etc. They shoudn't have cause to or be able to prevent us from parking our cars & mingling as the Lakefront was meant to be used for. Well, that and sailing. Unless this sign is still in effect...

We were ran off from the Gretna Ferry once. A bunch of us were lining our cars up on the ramp trying to get nice pics with the city skyline behind us when some meanie head Gretna Cop made us leave. But that (although we were causing no trouble) is understandable bc the ferry wasn't meant for that.

 

We had a big meet/BBQ on a sunday afternoon a few moths ago and the cops told us nothing until it started getting dark. They made a few passes but never did stop until late in the day.

But yeah, i'll be out there for sure. They have a dyno day at Corr Performence the day before that too.

 

I think that would be fun... I'll try to make it!

Monique- I might put my accord on the rollers, they have a prize for lowest HP. It depends on who goes before me, last time they had a 41whp CRX(not a typo). Its fun just watching and chilling I think.

ummm is there any way to drum up more support from the 1st gens? I realize we're the rotary minorities in this mean sucka next to the cosmo but i know there's got to be more than one more out there other than myself?:smiley_12

 

I'll say I'm planning on being there also, but no promises. The increase in gas price is scaring me.
