Why do you need that site when you have this section?

We use that sight for several reasons. It has to do with the locals having a place to post and receive info. I think it's a great source of info for us. Not necessarily so for you guys in Tulsa.

It kicked me out a few months ago. I was told that it was a wide spread issue, but it's still not working for me.

If you are getting errors let the admin know. We cannot fix issues that we are not aware of.

It's far from dead. The forsale areas are fairly active and the events section sees a good amount of traffic. There are about 65 actiive users who frequent on a regular basis and about 185 more that according to the logs visit at least 5 times a month.

In fact a large majority of the users don't use this or any other forums to get info from. Lots of folks prefer to not have to weed through tons of threads to get the event details they need.

Not everyone is a forum ***** and a large majority of the local users prefer to just recieve email updates directly like we used to do back in the days before forums.

If you don't like it... don't use it. nuff said.

DrK

PS. I would hardly say this forum gained prominence. Most of the local threads in this regional section are posted by me anyhow. I rarely see anyone step up to try and do anything for thie local rotary community or help us organize an event. Maybe our club should take a look at how other groups (such as the DFW crew (props to Dazy and Tim)) have managed to pull together events through coordination and support of each other.

This would indicate that the confirmation email was not completed. After I fixed the access problem back at the beginning of October you were sent an email confirmation. The email confirmation still appears to be outstanding.

In other words, you need to complete the registration process.
