Houston Club Meeting ~ April 5th 2005

Well the days are getting longer and the temperatures are getting warmer so we should hopefully start seeing more and more members at the meetings.

Over the Winter months we have seen a steady 20 or so cars at each meeting so with some luck from Mother Nature we will see some 40 car meetings in April and May! Yes, I said it 40 cars, come on everyone I know we can do it.

Everyone please take a look at your calendars and let's all decide on when the best weekend for a Late April drive would be.

Our next meeting will be at Barry's Pizza (located at the corner of Richmond and Fountainview) this has been one of our most succesful meeting locations and was recommended by several individuals at the last meeting. Please shoot me a email or respond back to this thread letting me know you are coming, I want to make sure we have enough seating for everyone once we get there!

Date: Tuesday, April 5th 2005
- Parking Lot @ 6:30
- Dinner starts at 7:15
Location: Barry's Pizza Richmond @ Fountainview

Barry's, that is where I attended my first meeting for the current iteration of the club when Rick was the first president. That was about 8 years ago.

Where have all the RX-7s gone, just dust blowing in the wind?

As much fun as the RX-8 is to drive, I will be there in the GSL-SE. It sure rides rough since the spec-7 suspension and RB front sway bar was added, especially on these nice Houston roads.

We will still be there!

I just checked the weather.. the rain is not "supposed" to move in until abouit 11-12 tonight.

Even when there is light rain we still have decent turnouts 20+ people.

After you have lived in Houston a while you will learn not to trust the sky or the weathermen.

They both lie!.

I couldnt make it.

My GF was playing violin in a student concert at my old U. Then my dad came home early from a business trip and I had to pick him up at the airport.
