Thumbs up Hey All...

I have not been on the board in a LONG time... whats up w/ this hover over ad junk. I guess they have to pay the bills. Anyone still meeting up? I saw Ray at the londoner a bit ago... (let me know if you go again! Rykerexum@gmail.com) Steve is upgrading shops I hear... What has everyone been up to? Did they end up doing that state meet thing I heard about along time ago?
Ryker

I'm not sure either. I made a short post a couple of days ago asking the same thing but for some reason it was removed?

If by State meet, you meant the Quad State Rotary Meet, yes, they had it and had a good turn out. Even I made it this time....

No, more like the one where they speak Spanish.

Life is good... I was planning to head to the local drag strip last night to meet some local car people, but it was raining, so I bailed.. other than that? I drink a lot..

Minions are doing well... they're learning quickly!

Anyone going to be in DFW next Sat?

(in base hotel now)

FD is in storage.....there are skylines everywhere or at least here on base - I haven't gotten to go off base yet. I've only seen 2 rx7s....and a few other interesting little turbo cars. Another new guy is getting here tomorrow so I'm hoping he'll want to go explore some. Getting a skyline is tempting.....but so is a right hand drive rx7.....decisions decisions.....
Also, used cars are cheapo here in a big way I've noticed on the lemon lot.

Once I get a car I plan on exploring off base to see what sort of stuff and other interesting things I can find.

Anyone driven a skyline? does it drive nice? I've heard mixed reviews from 'great' to 'it drives like a boat' to 'it takes too much $$ to make quick'

I personally think they are waaayyyyyyy over-hyped. Just stick to an RX-7 man, nothing will feel better.
