Tell the police to be there on the 14th.... If they don't come.. call 911 and say you have a burglary.. They'll be right over.

This probably belongs in the lounge though.

Yeah police won't do anything they can't collect on a ticket for.
I just want someone to take over a dell box and say it got delivered to me down the street, are you so and so and if they say yes get a good look at them and hand it over....anybody up for that?
I can go to the police after that....

OH wait, he's in Idaho, and the computers will be delivered in Dallas!! have you tried calling Dallas PD...most criminals are the brightest and will make mistakes that will plain get them caught. Like having stolen goods delivered to your house.

Yeah.. thats the best solution so far.. .I didn't realize he was in a different state. Wonder how they swung that. Most places won't ship to an address other than the one on the credit card. But I guess a lot of places allow it.

You should post this in the Dallas TX section of this forum... I'm sure there's people in there who want a new computer and/or be allowed to kick some thief's ***.

if they stole your identity, that means they ordered the computer under your name. try calling dell and cancel the order.

and also, IF the 'low lives' used your credit card, call your credit card company and dispute that thing, report it to them that you didn't make such transaction and WHAM! everything will be alright, i hope.

now, the only confusing thing is, how would they steal ur identity? i mean, in what way?

Thanks guys, They set up an account with dell using my name and address and maybe ss#...dell won't tell me anything other than to fill out a form and send it back.
I then called dell's order line later to find my account still active and then found out where and what was being shipped, then asked them to shut down the order....they said I couldn't because I was not the one who set up the account!!!!!WTF
Oh well, dell's *** is on the line should they still send them...I still don't know if they have my SS# or not.
Dell finance called me to confirm the order is how I found out. I called the order hot line and asked witch address my order was going to.....3203 Hudnall, apt 2131, Dallas Tx 75253

I don't want violence, just the truth and hopfully some guy going to jail.
Just see if someone will answer to Scott Cureton at that address.

There's the address for the street location. It's near Love Field, real close to Lemmon Ave and Mockingbird Ln. Anybody near there?
