Good place to drive stupidly fast near Dallas?

When I get my RX7 I want to tape some webcams on it and not go under 100 mph for the duration of "Highway to the Danger Zone".

Is there any place within 100 miles of Dallas where this would be "safe" in terms of low traffic and no police helicopters?

Cool

Go to an RX7 meet and then go on the cruise.
You can be a Total (like someone here) and go passing cars at 120 mph on the SHOULDER!!!

i wouldn't recogmend it, but I did a 172mph run on GWB one night racing an r6. I would say I was very lucky not to see a cop though.

Go down US 67 past Glen Rose, TX and turn left onto I think it is TX 220 or US 220 that goes to Hico. 220 is one of the best places to go stupidly fast because I rarely see law enforcement, it's incredibly straight, and it's far, far away from Dallas...but still less than 100 miles away. I took many a top speed runs in my dad's Grand Am when I was in high school, I took my vert up to 125 on it, and my brother and I took his modded Cooper S up to 135 (and it was still pulling), so it's a fun road to drive.

HAHAHAHAH. Nice try. I went to college there! I got an exhibition of acceleration ticket going 15 mph there in a 30 mph speed limit.

Yeah Ill probably just do cuts and edits. I went south of dallas once on 45 instead of 35 to have an alternate route to waco. Lots of empty road out there.

Good luck. You're an idiot.

Y'know, if everyone had such negative attitudes like that about a little crazy speed, all the real car buffs of the World would never have been able to enjoy a little cult video called Rendezvous...anybody here know what flik I'm talking about??

The issue here is not driving fast on the road, it is passing on the shoulder stupidly fast at 120 mph and then bragging about it, like it takes super human strength to do that.
I will agree, that it takes a SUPER to do.
I just hope and wish, that SA(Super *******) wrecks BAD soon and I promise, I'll go to SA's grave to take a **** and a crap in his face.

PS Rendezvous!!!??? Don't know that Bitch

There are alot of other flicks called: OWNED, When Things Go Wrong, When ******** Crash, Speed Thrills & Kills, Drunk Drivers Gone Wild, Races Gone Bad....get it???
So it is not a negative attitude, cause I don't give a rats *** what happens to SA.
I do care what happens to the people around his stupid actions.

you know not everyone that does the cannonball cruise speeds, there were a couple cars last time (mostly Rx8s) that just did the speed limit.
