I plan on attending this event, as I did last year which was cancelled due to Katrina.

The air show will be held on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1. Admission is FREE. Parking is $10 per car load. Current performers include the following:

no, recon, ours is going to be on October 20-22 this year. Funny thing though--they always used to alternate between the T-Birds and Blue Angels for this show, and both teams are busy somewhere else this year. I cannot find any info about what is expected here this year. But I keep up with the warbirds and the active aircraft too, so I have a decent idea of what "might" be around. Sad to say that the F-22 is most likely not going to be here. There have been a large number of restoration projects on old warbirds though, and there are some pretty rare sights flying now. Two years ago, they had Dale Snodgrass in the F-86. I knew Dale from my time in the Navy--he is the guy who has flown more F-14 hours than anyone.
