Lol atleast thats one person going. Heard the street car scene is slim to none out there. Arroyo Seco is only an hour and a half away though.

 

been in El Paso since 08, bike scene is pretty sick, but the car scene is hit or miss. if your looking to get something clean, you wont find it in EP, youll have to build it. I picked up an FD and it turned out to be a little bit of a piece, but nothing a fewgrand didnt fix. now its one of 3 in the city. If you want guys to work on your rotary, EPT Motorsports are gonna be your guys. they have performed miracles on my ride, and i will be going to them for my rebuild as soon as the time comes. I guess it helps that the owners are rebuilding two FC's in the back corner of their shop haha

 

Yeah heard the street car scene is pretty shitty. All i've seen mention are car clubs of pretty much stock tahoe's on 24's, an indash, and some shitty glow gauges lol. Sucks. I really dont want to go out there. Looks like i'll be using my reenlistment to go somewhere else. I already have an FD so im not really looking into buying anything out there. All i need is a place to live with a garage.

 

That shouldnt be a problem, there ar new developments shooting up everywhere out here, and i dont know too many NEW houses without a garage, so renting something shouldnt be too bad. BAH isnt exactly amazing out here, but it does its job. only thing that truly blows is the 8.25 percent sales tax. But if youve never been to el paso before, you are in for one hell of a cluture shock bro haha

 

Yeah unfortunately BAH for me is like $917 or something like that. Most of the nicer plays like the place i have in killeen cost over $1k a month there. Im trying to find something nice though. I've never been before but i hear its shitty. Complete opposite of where im from. I'll miss muddin' and riding the mountains of Georgia. Gotta get use to the damn sand. Anybody in El Paso want to help do my LS2 swap? lol. According to my neighbor my car is leaking oil and coolant. No clue where from though.

 

Hey all. I am out in El Paso as well and hadn't found to many people into rotaries. But just letting y'all know there are others. Seems like there is not too much going on in the car seen regarding 7's, but maybe it just needs to get started.

 

there is a mini meet every wednesday night , behind Fox Plaza on Alameda and Paisano. It is cop regulated and keeps everyone in line for the most part. Ill be goin tonight, so look for a red FD with enkei FN01R-C's

 

ill be there with all my tools guys and all the engines for rebuilts, jaja, see you all there

im finishing 4 engines this week, pack the tools and the house and move, then i will do 2 more there after i finish umpacking and the rest LOL

so i've been out here for 2 weekends now and havent seen anything. Several Porsches and a bunch of rice, but nothing great. Hell i've only been driving my car like once every few days because theres no reason to even get it out over here. Somebody save me lol.

 

ill be there the 20th now, im coming with two engines in the truck to finish them there and off course the car in the trailer

 

There is a rotary sceen here...we would get together the first Sunday of each Month. Ill talk to the guys to see if we are gonna start up again. About a total of 6 FD's, Hand full of 2nd and 1st gens and my RX4. These are just street cars, locally there is a FD running 10's and a RX2 from PR doing the same.

The drag strip is on the far Eastside if anybody is intrested let me know we are going this friday
