East Texas Rotary
I was wondering if there was any guys in the East Texas area. I am in the process of a T2 swap, and would love to meet some fellow 7 owners and see some nice 7's

lol, what can I say? The poor thing has to be filled up twice a week and thats just going back and forth to work, something like 20 miles each way. One of these days I'll get that carb issue sorted out (runs way to rich) and fuel economy will hopfully follow. Good luck on the t2 swap. I've been considering another 7 project and going the supercharger route. Gots ta start saving!

Yeah I moved back to Texas, Got a good job here.
I know the 7 is a thristy beast! lol
Streetman, TX is about 80 miles south of dallas, right off 45. I live on Richland Chambers Lake, which is about 15 miles from Streetman itself, but that is my mailing address.
I have to go to tyler to fill out some paper work on my other Rx7, So I would be in town. Maybe we could meet up and shoot the breeze.
I need to see another rotary, or I will go mad!!!

im from the tyler area too, depending on the day you will be in tyler, we should meet up because there are only a handful of rotary people around here, and that would give me a good reason to bring the rx7 out instead of my daily.
I thought my cars were the only ones in East Texas......I'm in Grand Saline - but not by birth, not by choice and I'm definately not staying. Unless I decide to develop a ripping METH habit and screwing sheep, this is.........hehehe
I'd like to meet some Tyler area rotary people. Palestine is just too far after driving from my house to work in North Dallas every day. If not for Sirius I'd be completely retarded now.

Why do you call it turbopinto?
I own a pinto believe it or not too. Really!

We should work on trying to get a meet together. If I could ever get off from work 7/10's suck!

Dallas meets are the first Saturday of the month, so not the 1st of April, but the 7th of April. But come on out, we'd love to have you - maybe I'll have my car running by then!
That might be a little optimistic now that I've got start fighting the city for it, though.

MattG, dothacker, and Dark, I seems that I'm the closest to Dallas out of the four of us. Would you guys want to meet up and then head out to a meet? I've got mine to the point where I'm comfortable taking it long distances now that the leaking oil lines are gone and I don't think I have a race that weekend. Dothacker and Dark, you guys would take 20 into dallas right? Y'all want to meet up Terrell then cruise out? MattG, I imagine you'd go up 45 which makes Terrrel is abit out of the way for you but would you be willing to cover the extra distance?
Hey guys, I'd really like to go to a meet. Never been.....I live in Grand Saline on Hwy 80 which is 12 miles north of Canton/I-20. I'd be driving an Explorer w/3 rows of seats if a carpool is necessary. Let me know.

Wish I was that close to dallas!
