well i never got to meet any of you guys..... last time i went to a cruise i was too late........ i was going to buy the fd wheels from re-rx7 but you guys left like 5 min before i got there. still trying to get my car up wont idle

 

I've only been to one of the DFW cruises, but thought I'd offer this:

You can try to limit invitees but there will still be interlopers and gawkers.

I'd suggest taking lots of pics at the meets - not just of the cars but also of the people you don't know. That way you have something to go on if the unthinkable happens again.



edit: forgot to mention, having one's picture taken can be a great dissuader in and of itself. Said thug will know you know, ya know?

 

i strongly suggest that the leaders not take off and leave everyone behind - out of the 20 or so cars at the last meet - i only saw 7 or 8 parked together in the same lot at the destination - plus i got stuck with a group that had no clue where they were going, thankfully i did know but no one pulled over to ask until it was too late.
