DFW RX-7/RX-8 club August meet - August 6th 2005

Hello, I'll be filling in for JC Krueger this month, I guess.

Our next meet will be Saturday August 6th at Cheddars at 8pm. As usual all cars are welcome. We will have some info to pass out about our upcoming track day, and flyers for the Quad-state BBQ.

It will be in the parking lot next to Cheddars at the intersection of I-635 and McCarther in Irving.

Once I get new hose clamps, the originals aren't big enough for the thicker hoses, and get the new coolant in, I'll see if I'll be able to make it, or if I toasted my engine from a completely obliterated heater hose on the highway yesterday.

I couldn't make it although I tried my damn hardest, when I got there at like 9:40ish, there were like 2 or 3 RXs out there and I assumed they went in to cheddars to eat so I left. I swear Sam told me his FB has a single turbo 13B-REW.

Now it's running an REW with a T-78 I beleive....

In the past it was a S5 motor.

Sam was fun to talk with, and the turbo FB was uber-cool, especially since it pretty much looks like a POS on the outside.
It does sound surprisingly mild.
I desperately need to 13B & T my '79...

I was quite a big turbo down there....nice little TIAL blow-off valve and everything....but it sounded like it had a small 12A with an exhaust leak, I swear...that's just amazing...
