Got a get-together in FW earlier in the day. Depends on how long that goes on. I mean, after all, *I* was at the last one... by myself.

Got my new exhaust installed...well, at least the cat-back part of it. Sounds really nice now, but still have the restrictive cat. Plus I have the new boost and W/B gauges installed!

Anyone recommend a good high-flow cat that can take the rotary heat? I've been told Bonez, but wanted to get other opinions as well.

I cant make it, I will be working 5pm-5am. The Bonez cat works great, had one on mine for years with no issues and passed smog with no problem.

I was pleasantly informed that this past June was the last time I'll have to take an emissions test. The State of TX firmly believes that my car is an 89 as that is what is stated on the title, but the VIN states it is an 88. The inspector confirmed as well, so now it's time to remove the old system and turbo --> cat.

Did you notice much boost creep with the free flowing exhaust?

Another for Bonez here. I only lost the guts of my first one because I always found it fun driving through essentially tire deep puddles with a hot exhaust just to engulf the car in a cloud of steam.... the cat... wasn't liking that so much

I've got the Bonez high flow on my FD now for over 3 years. Works great, passes smog, and I never see any boost creep.
