DFW Inspections

Okay, so I have two rx-7's with straight exhaust and no air pump. I need to get them inspected the "rx-7-freindly" way...I need to pass.

There's bound to be some guys out there in DFW that had similar problems. Please PM me with some info or just call me:

850-637-7725

If you can help, thank you incredibly!!!!!!!!!!

Those articles are about fake stickers. I just want some "help" passing; not a fake sticker.

What's your problem anyway, don't you want more sevens on the road?

No he just wants all 7s to be forced to run v8s like his.....

I'M TOTALLY KIDDING HABU DON'T HURT ME
I'm gonna do it to a junker FC I pick up in the near future and have "V8s suck" on the rotary FC and "rotaries suck" on the V8 FC and totally confuse the **** out of someone who gets offended by one then sees my other. I think I'll make them visually identical too.

I posted a link for a google search, this was the specific article I was referring to in my PM:

(from: Six arrested as law officers crack down on fraudulent emissions tests)

A state vehicle emissions inspector was arrested Wednesday morning at a vehicle inspection station on Royal Lane in Dallas. Charged with tampering with government records, she and others arrested in Wednesday's crackdown could face up to 20 years in prison. Police cracked down on that scam and a new one was born - the fraudulent emissions inspection. Here's how it works: an inspector runs the test on a passing vehicle and slaps the sticker on the polluting vehicle - for an extra $60 or $80.
In other words, you leave your car overnight (because state investigators don't typically work evenings) and a "clean" car is sniffed on the dyno in place of yours with the "clean" results credited to your VIN. This is different than a counterfeit inspection sticker, but still illegal and the inspection station can get busted for it.

Last year my car managed to (just barely) pass legally, but the option above was offered to me if I didn't pass. Whether swapping sniff-pipes or faking stickers, I just wanted to let folks know that this area has come under increased scrutiny lately. That doesn't mean I don't want cars on the road, it just means finding "help" is gonna be more difficult than in the past.

I believe rotary powered cars should be exempt from this pollution ****. It's just not fair to put a different kind of motor into the same rules as a completely different design...

We are designed to burn oil and we are supposed to fit into the rules for motors that don't?

BTW is this raid deal only in Dallas County?
