Compression Test

So I think my engine has finally gone to sleep.....or at least in the process of going comatose. My car floods after every shutdown. Have to deflood just to get it to start again. Began happening this morning after I got out of work and stopped off at O'Reilys. Hoping someone may have access to a compression tester and verify for me if I should be getting ready for a rebuild/port or looking at alternatives.

Car is non-turbo
127k miles on engine
cat-back exhaust
filter with hard intake pipe
new plugs new wires
coils are firing

Thanks in advance

In terms of flooding, it should not happen on a fuel injected car.
So the flooding can be caused by faulty injectors/controllers.
Good luck with the porting job!

That website seems fishy to me.
That information is just for a quick fix. Like any other fuel injected motor,
the injecors should disable when ignition is off. If fuel is going in when car is turning off, then you may have a "flooded" situation.
The unusually low compression should not be able to suck fuel out of the injectors. Thats normally not a possible thing unless injector is leaking.

By the way can you tell me how to post a new thread/message?I cant figure it out! thx

Is this the S5 or S4 model?
Is the battery full charged and the engine cranking at normal speeds or is the engine cranking slowly?
