Can someone help me set my TPS? (D/FW area)

I have never done such a thing and I was wondering if anyone was free either sometime this week or more towards the weekend. I have never set a TPS before and I definately don't want to screw up my idle...

If anyone can, just make a post here or PM me. I don't have the net at home, so I can check when I am online at work or when I can borrow an internet terminal.

just search on this forum for "tps adjustment" or the like. It is very simple if you have a multimeter. either set it in the engine bay to 1ohm or at the ecu to 1volt. and then make sure when you press the gas peddle that it sweeps evenly to about 4-5ohms or 4-5volts. Good luck man.

You need an ohmmeter and flat head screwdriver, try it. If you still need help someone should be albe to help you.
Just a correction on the last post though...

just search on this forum for "tps adjustment" or the like. It is very simple if you have a multimeter. either set it in the engine bay[green+ and black- wires] to [1k ohms]or at the ecu to 1volt. and then make sure when you press the gas peddle that it sweeps evenly to about [5-6K ohms]or 4-5volts. Good luck man.
