Big Problem!

What would you do if you dropped your perfect running FD off at a peformance shop on a saturday to get the downpipe tightened because it was leaking exhaust and get your brakes done. and they call back on on thursday telling you that "I was just driving the car and it started running shitty so i did a compression check and your rear rotor has no compression." to top it all off they put 225 miles on the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now they want ME to pay for the motor.

Now what!

Ummm Yeah that is right 225 miles. If they ever test drove it. It should only be around the corner and back breaks aren't that big of a deal. I agree with the other guys call a lawyer.

Your going to need solid proof of the milage or else you don't stand a chance.

When your dropped it off did you get something (invoice, etc) in writing with the milage listed on it?

This is why people with Power FC's need to lower the Rev limiter to like 3000rpms so they cant hurt anything off boost. Then remove the commander so that they cant mess with anything thing.

225 miles is too much for testing.
But, you should never take your car in to any shop for such easy maintenance that you should have done yourself.
We original owners learned this even when our FDs were under Mazda's warranty.

Get a lawyer and be persistent. They know they f*cked up, if you lean on them the truth will come out.
