Terrific Meet & Cruise
Hey Marc,
This 100+ meet really turned out great & w/out road incident. Drivers came for some or all of the day in all types of performance cars, plenty of mall parking, arrival @County Line before opening/good parking again/1st-in-line-fast seating/regular prices, safe 2222W start on the drive w/small groups/sensible drivers, excellent stopping point @Lime Creek/Anderson Mill Rd, scenic 1431 to Marble Falls & more good parking @the River City Cafe/TGIF destination lot, all safe, sound & happy. Some survivors & you even continued through Johnson City, Fitzhugh Rd & Driftwood to the Cabela's Sat. night car meet. I got home in N.Austin @10:30pm; we all must have had a good time.

And you were worried about chaos ?? Just say "I meant to do that......" & get ready for the next one. After all, you're now famous as the "MegaMeet Wizard". So what's next & when ??
Also, if you wish, let some of the other drivers & clubs help out next time. TexasRxs is sending a small check to defer a little of the expense you incurred personally on this one. PM me your Temple address or post here for anyone else in helping. About $1.50-$2.00 per car (NBFD) should cover it ; Cheap Thrills & no sales tax !!.

Your 1st gen. is a on-going work-in-progress owner restoration & deserves to be respected. Don't apologize about the looks. Congrads on 1st getting it running well when I saw it. Now you can bring it to meetings & other drives; no excuses. Later, the rest of body, paint, interior.

March or very early April is still cool weather, my vote, your call.
May might be real warm already on the asphalt lots, stop lights & stop points.
1st June wk. '09 hit 111 #&%^$!! degrees on N.Mopac in Austin.
