Here's the schedule. I believe the cost to spectate is $10 (not sure, I have the flyer at home).

Jack, would you happen to know if John Houghtaling and Franco Valobra are still quarterbacking the FFQC?
From what I've heard, Franco's been in Florida since Katrina. I would imagine that he'd be coming back to town for this, though.
Anyways, Nov. 3 is not a Sevens on the Shore meet, per say. If you guys want to meet up and hang out while watching millions upon millions of dollars worth of automotive history, that's fine by me. My dad and I will be out there with the camera gear in full force.
So, besides Jack and I, who else is thinking about coming out?

I'm pretty sure Franco is still involved. His shop is down the street from my mom's on Royal St. and he has been around lately.
What time do you usually show up? I'd rather avoid sitting in line to get in.

In 2004, we actually met up with some of the caravan at one of the gas stations on 3127. We typically get there right after the cars in the event show up.
Spectators usually start coming in bewteen 10:30am - 1pm.
I enjoy getting there early because you get to talk with the drivers, hear all the cars, and get really nice looks at the cars showing up. Plus, it's pretty cool riding in a train of Ferraris!
I'd say that you'd be fine getting there before 9:30-10, but the earlier you can get there, the better.

Shawn, we were in John Houghtaling's suite for the Saints vs. Philly game. He just got married Saturday and is now on his honeymoon. I'm assuming he should be back for the event as he and Franco were the main guys coordinating for years.
I plan on getting off work that day and if so will def. be out there. Will be looking out for the Rotorheads amongst the Pasta Burners.

He's getting it back to the original build order from when the Shaw of Iran had it. Did he mention when it will be done? What time are you planning to head out there Ted?
Just look for me in my Mazdaspeed or Racing Beat t-shirt.
Just wanted to give anyone interested a heads up about the Elmwood car show that's going on tonight. Elmwood shopping center parking lot, right in front of the Fox and the Hound. Not sure of the exact starting time, but IIRC, they typically start around 5:30-6.
My father, my g/f, and I will be out tonight to relive the gool ol' days of the Elmwood car shows.
Hope to see some of you guys out there!

Not sure yet if I can make it to the NPR, but if I can............it will be from 9-1. Mark, Jonathan and Barry are supposed to be out there as well. Going to call John H. to see if we can get in on the Convoy again like we did a few years back below:

Sorry for the misinformation, guys. My dad read the paper wrong. He saw that it was the POS event, and assumed it was at Elmwood. I drove out there only to find out that the event was in the far, rear parking lot at Clearview mall. By the time I got out there (~6:30), there were only, like, 25 cars. Most of those guys were leaving, too.
Disappointing to say the least...
Anyways, see you guys Friday!

^&^You are going to go to a ferrari meet on friday. It is going to be amazing!! You are going to mapquest NPR and/or meet up with ted and follow him there. Everyone else will be there at roughly 0900 to about 1400, but you know everyone will stay longer because it is that awesome.

Looking like I am about to out of comission also. I am 98% sure I have lost a water seal. Car doesn't smoke unless I drop it really hard. When I am really on the throttle and shift I get a little white/grey puff out the back, but I also have a misterious water loss issue sooooo now comtemplating if I am going to stay "rotarded" or go to the "dark side" and build me a LSX7......hmmmm decisions, decisions.
