Aside from people trying desperately to get out of the state? If you're moving from Cali, be prepared for a culture shock of astounding proportions.

It's very pretty, there's a lot of "outdoors" type activities, and the people are generally nice.

Having said that, most of them grew up here so they have no idea what they're missing in a big city. Sacramento has more people than the entire state of Arkansas, so there's not a lot to do if you don't hunt or fish. The local SCCA is good, but there's only one event a month (unlike Dallas where I could run every weekend if I wanted) and the local dragstrip(s) leave a lot to be desired.

Nah, it's not like that! You will meet quite a few "Country boys", but I've never seen any blatant racism.

well.. the airport we will be landing in to visit is in Lafayette airport...
but my cousins in in Waldron?

 

waldron is about 2 hrs from here. and if you can live in fayetteville/rogers/springdale/bentonville area. lots of people and some really good jobs plus its a really fast growing area. if you want to get ideas of houses in my area then search for zipcode 72703 on realtor.com or something like that.

 

oh there is NO emissions or visual inspection here so you you can mod your car how you like. plus you can remove that emissions ****.

 

I'm in little rock. not lots to do. If you like drifting we are having events about every month in walnut ridge. you can go to the arkansas rx7 club forum (dick posted a link)
