There are several Rx7's in Oklahoma, including me. I drive a 93, and live in Norman. There are a few of us around.. but not many!

I am an 1993 RX-7 Silver Shadow driver. I am from Tulsa. I have seen three other 93 RX-7s In the last two years. I really like this car, but I have found there are NO qualified mechanics anywhere In the tri-state area.

If It were not for this fact I would continue to keep this bullet.

I am not a mechanic but know Mr. Run Around, Put Off, and Mr. Money For Nothing quite well. They reside at the Mazda dealers here.

Anyone will willingly tear this car apart for the unique experience, but no one yet has the qualifications to do so.

If you have one baby It, or keep It for a few months and pass It on. Without Mechanics the "1993-1995"RX-7s are dinasours.

Yeah sorry about that Shawn that would be my fault. Well if you wanna get technical it was still your fault. You left the Montego Blue out front for so long. That's the only reason we stopped by.

Sweet.. I need to throw the laptop back in the car.. been working on a friend's car. Damn thing won't run.. think it's electrical now that the maps are right... and for you, I will have to swap the plugs. I am running old race plugs.. good for upper 11's.. but not the 10's.. Will see... Anyways.. my car is ready to go. It will be interesting. I would like to do this at the track, I like the track, so much more controlled. Anyways.. either way. We should put like 20 bucks on it or something.. just for fun. Well.. stay in touch, and I hope you get your turbo back in there alright. T-78's are pretty easy to work on, shouldn't be too difficult.
cya.. quinn...

Sorry about the double post earlier. We will race. You already know the stipulations. NO ET STREETS!! Street tire to street tire. I need to look at the cage sometime. If I like it, let me know who did it and how much. Got too many other things that needs to be done...brakes, fluids, polishing, etc, etc. Winter is coming so guess I got some things to do when it gets freezing cold.

Yeh.. I am in the same boat.. I have a lot of parts sitting in my garage right now.. I just need some time to put it all in the car. I really need a new clutch, but if I do that, I need the axles since I will put in the 6 puck or the 4 puck unsprung. That's some pricy stuff already. The guy that put in my roll cage did a really good job.. and it passed tech at the NHRA Summit Import Nationals race at Ennis. Unfortunatly, I didn't run in the event, but I did get my car on the track a couple of times. I need brakes also.. big brake kits are kinda pricy. I need to get some drag radials for ya.. My street tires are alright, but not as good as a good set of drag radials. Oh well.. should be fun. I am looking foreward to it. Did you ever get that T88 installed? I havn't talked to Long in a while to see if he put in your old T78. Have fun, and take it easy.

Long can't use my T78. Different flange if I'm correct. He doesn't have enough mods to support the T78. I will someday get a T88 if the right deal comes along. I got drag radials...just too skinny. 245/50/16 Nitto Drags suck. I managed an 11.8@122 on them though(pump gas big boost leak). I'll get some bigger drag radials and hoping to improve that time. We'll see .

Cool. I thought that I have seen you run faster than that on drag radials. My street tires are much wider than that, they just don't have the good compound for drag racing. You can do some work to the T78.. takes a machine shop just a few minutes to fix it up for a RX-7. Had to do a lot of work to mine in order to get it to fit, but you do have to have all the good stuff to support a turbo that large on a 1.3 liter rotary. You are lucky just being able to stick that thing in your car without too much worry. Oh well... it's only money.. right?

I've gone a little faster on drag radials hehehe. Once we fixed the leak and tuned the car, it was ok. Yea money that I don't have anymore . I'll stop with the car when I hit my 10sec pass.
