12.07 non-turbo 1979 1st gen

i'm sorry, are you not impressed? does your non-turbo run 12 flat? does it need gas to hit those low 16s you run?

Specs:
twin 264 volt battery packs, Hawker Genesis 12V batteries, twin Zilla controllers, twin Advanced DC 9 " motors, 68 Charger positraction rearend

i came across this ironically looking for nothing car or much less rx7 related. and much much less battery-powered rx7 related. much much much less 1st gen batt (etc etc)

It is because everyone knows that rx-7 owners are irritable about swaps.

I'm not sure how I feel about this swap....at least it's not a V8, right?

Nice strut tower brace...I wonder how many amps you could run with all those batteries...?

I went to Denton a few weeks ago and it just wasn't my day. This was the worst run ever and I didn't even bother getting my slip. 60' had to have been atleast a 2.6. Just lit them up off the line, spun so bad in 2nd I had to let off, hit the rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd, missed 3rd and 4th gear and just coasted to the end after ripping the tranny mount off the body.

It was against a blown C5, the loud V8 you hear is mine and not the C5

Wow, that thing is loud. Do you ever go out to Ennis? I don't know where that Denton track is.
