I fixxx'd one of my exhaust leaks like a few mins ago and wow.... I knew the gasket was pretty bad when i had massive blow-by when the bolts almost came completely off but when I unbolted it this time, pretty much just the inner metal ring remained

 

oh wow lol!

 

You should have seen mine - last engine rebuild, I left one of the washers on the stud when I put the manifold back on. I just about went nuts trying to figure out where the exhaust leak was because everything was tight! - luckily it was SO FREAKING LOUD I didn't drive it anywhere or get it up to temp.

 

dont know about you, but that clam looks a little wet to me

 

mmm, steamed clams, with a little bit of butter, are yummy...... in a non-perverted way of course.
