Discovered that my alt has died on me this afternoon. Be there in the new Miata.

I might be there earlier than 8 maybe around 7:30. And I doubt I will be going all the way to FT Worth with the rest of the meet. To far and those roads suck both in quality and the number of cops that patrol them.

I can't afford another mother ******* kink in my right rear wheel. It already has 3 big kinks and I don't know why. I think the wheel might be defective and weaker than the others because I only remember hitting 1 massive pothole with the right side and only the rear wheel got fucked that time even when the front shocks were set to 3 and the rear to 1 (1 is soft 5 is hard).

 

i'm just gonna cruise...dont really feel like going all out tonight.

^+1 I left completely stuffed!! Hope no one else ran into the Man on the way home! I had one tail me for a good ways on 35...a car was entering the hwy and I thought for a split second...."boost, get in left lane and you'll pass both" then for some reason decided to let off the throttle and let the guy onto the hwy....sure enough the suburban unmarked (no lights on top) cop flew past me on the left.... whew!!!
Good cruise tonight everyone! Hope the 10th AE didn't get it too bad! Tell us all about what happened...!!

Fun night. I was getting on 183 and got up to 105mph, knowing others were speeding in front of me, my radar beeped at me, so I let off. I had no idea where to cop was, until I saw the cruiser behind me. As soon as he hit the lights, I pulled over and he and I watched everyone else brap by. He asked the normal questions and I answered honestly,"rx7 meet". He said he tagged me at 87mph, I was relieved it wasn't 105mph. After some time at his cruiser, he came back and handed me my license and said "thanks for being honest, not running, and pulling over in a safe spot. Have a good night." I shook his hand, said thanks and went home with a big smile. I took a picture while I was pulled over but it did not come out the way I wanted it to. Here are some pic at the meet...

Wow....that was a lucky break. I can't believe he let you go. Especially because it was obvious that you were with a group of other cars that were racing around and such. Happy to hear you made it!

 

To be honest a good majority of the cruise was 70mph avg, for me at least and I was near the front of the pack, until we were past Eu(s)less on 183. Then basically everyone swooped past me as I constantly got stuck behind slow cars and this white 4 door Civic and silver silverado that just kept cutting all of us off as we were going around them, catching some of us up, and cutting us off again.

Tony's car shot a massive 8 feet long steady flame over my hood during that cruise. It was badass and deeply distracting...

My car only shoots 2 foot long at the most

Anyone thinking about cops next time? That may suck...

BTW what causes bigger flames? **** rich or nice and lean?
