I'd imagine it's sort of like a prius....you'd have to drive almost a million miles before you could ever realize some savings.

 

I don't think it would really be comparable to the Prius, as you are still needing to purchase gas for it. So you are still paying for the gas even though the estimated costs are down, and are still adding cost on as you are trying to pay it down. With the Flux Capacitor, you just find some trash for the Mr. Fusion. Any dumpster will do fine. So you are totally nixing out fueling costs.

 

No matter how free garbage is....a flux capacitor is still over a million

I've got five used ones sitting around here somewhere..... but you can't have them. they are mine. if you try to steal them i will go back in time and steal you from your crib, dropkick you into a pond, and laugh at your demise. Either that or we could have time-travel wars.... that would be cool too.

 

The only problem with that is if I did steal one, I would die in the process of doing so as you would, in your future self, find out (in the future) I stole one (in the past), travel back in time, and kill my past self. In fact, the second I finalize my decision to steal one, I would die on the spot. That, or we would be forced into an infinite repeating time loop of going back in time to kill our past selves over and over again...

What if I go back in time with my only remaining flux capacitor in order to stop flux capacitors from ever being created. Which by my amazing calculations would leave a time gap between the time this whole thing started and the time that flux capacitors were erased from history. And since you can't rewind time (the most you can do is travel between times) you would be stuck with a missing block of time and since time is necessary for events to occur, nothing would have occurred during that time. Which leads to the theory that you can't have something occur after something occurred without something occurring between the 2 occurrences. And in conclusion...


Existence will cease to exist...

Thats kinda what the whole thing led up to. But if you guys want to see my real flux capacitor just ask. I'm not kidding either, there is this little thing next to the brake booster that looks funny, it's like a coiled copper wire in a plastic tube thats sealed closed. I'm afraid that if I touch it my inertial dampers will go offline...

Actually, he just takes the prototype from the past and brainwashes the creators and anyone who knows/knew of it and brings it forward in time with him.... thus history for it will never have existed although one exists in the future via a space-time continuum loop-hole...... which would indeed cause a collapse of the dimensions known as "past" and "present" and more than likely merge them into one single dimension.......... which would basically cause time to never progress because each second forward would mean several years backtracked.
