I will know what exactly the turbo is before it goes on my car, there is no question about that. Its just a matter of a small trip across town to have it inspected. Its also a inconvienience that would have easily been avoided with a little common courtesy on XS's part. I mean how hard is it to look through a few invoices? That is assuming that these are custom tailored to each customers car, which I hightly doubt.

How does that saying go? One unhappy customer does more damage than 10 happy ones can cancel out. And all for what? Because you are either lazy or paranoid or both.
This is so funny. Just ask them what the A/R is. So what if they won't tell you the details of the design of the turbo - understand it is competive down here and live with it. Is this the spec your really want to know? I am sure it is.

As long as you are happy with the quality and performance - this is the important matter. The spec on my T04E is .96. Still, not sure exactly as this came from HKS - don't really care actually either. I am interested in the power.

Important thing is the deliverable. They should be open to give you the A/R of the turbo. Speak to Andy An. He is the RX-7 person there that could give you the information. He he cannot, be nice and ask him why. These guys are not ********. I am sure they could turn into ******** with much proding from a punk-*** customer. Not calling you that, only alluding....

hope all works out.

I did ask them nicely. They nicely told me to ask Jason. I asked him nicely. Still no answer.
Maybe I am just too simple for this crap. If a customer asks me what I did to his car, I tell him. Plain and simple. No song and dance. No politics, no BS. They don't have to kiss my *** or ask me nicely. They are paying, and I am working for them. I don't have to like them.
But hey, whatever.

I will overlook the punk comment because I don't know you and you don't know me. Just so you know, I am not some little punk. I am a very big punk and whenever you want to come up here the Thousand Oaks you can tell me what you think of me in person.

I was going to let this thresd die, but since you brought it up again, now I am pissed.
You know what? I am sure XS loves you, they probably saw your wallet from around the corner, you probably never work on your own car, you never ask questions, you just want to get in the car and go. That's fine and XS is probably a good sollution for you. BUt not everyone is like that. Some of us do work on our own stuff and we want to know what we are buying. For my PC, I like Windows, I turn the computer on and chack my email, I don't care how it works or why it does what it does. If I was a computer geek I would probably like Linux. I knew a guy that tried to buy a turbo to his own specs from XS, you know what they told him? Just tell us how much horsepower you want to make and we will build the turbo for you. Give me a break. XS is great for people with lots of money that don't want to know what is going on.
When I bought this I was told they would map my PFC for me which would have saved me big money. What I got was a generic map and another BS excuse.
I said it in the begining and I still say it.. XS Sucks!

Im closing this thread because its obviously going no where.

You have a T04E with .96 exhaust housing / P- trim. Those are the only numbers XS is giving out. I dont know why they dont give them out, but thats the way they work and theres nothing we can do about it.

XS told me they can build a turbo to your specifications, but if you go with thier setup they dont like to give out the specs.
