XS Single Turbo Group Buy

Wondering who got in on the group buy and what setup did everyone choose. I chose the T04E because I had to save the extra $200 to get the Apexi Power FC with Commander. Also, has anyone done any pre-prep work in preparation for the turbo arrival? You know like pull parts off the car or drain any fluids. If so, let me know, so maybe I will get around to doing it this week. Seeing as I haven't driven it since the weather went over 90 degrees Fahrenheit. No AC in car.

T04S for me...

My car is a project car... I just got the turbo first....

For what you would normally pay for a T-78 kit... you get the full T04S...BOV (included)...and the difference in price essentially covers an Apexi AVC-R and a fuel pump.

I was going purchase the fuel system parts first... but I'm going to hold off a few months and whack some the debt service incurred with this purchase.

(Turbo isn't going on the car any time soon).....

I have the t04s. The only thing i have to do for installation is close up the water lines to the stock twins, and get the DP tapped for my EGT probe

Unhappy Ahh yes, emissions.....

That's a good point about emissions testing. I am going to try this... reprogram the powerfc to run pretty lean from off idle to about 3500 RPM. They don't really get over that level on the 'roller test' that they do here in Maryland anyhow. I'll be sitting in the car, and I'll ask the guy running the test to "take it real easy" because the car is "old and tired". Of course, it doesn't LOOK old and tired, but you throw in a random comment about it overheating... they will drive it REAL nice, especially with you in the car.

Anyhow, when I'm done, I'll reset my powerfc to the real maps.

Any other ideas? Anyone tried this? Does it work?
