Which would work best for me?

Okay, so I'm deciding on a single for the 7 I'm looking at (yes, I am quite ready for it, and the car will be too). I was wondering if nayone can give me their impressions of each turbo (or the one that they own) and which turbo will be best for my goals.

T-78, T-88, or T-51R??

Factors to consider: power at x boost level, lag/rpm for full boost, ability to create at least 500 rwhp, hoping for 600 rwhp.

Lastly is price, but this is almost a non-factor. Looking to keep it under 5k installed, the T51R is 4300 in the rx7store, while the others are cheaper. Assuming I'm only getting a single install so I figure I'll be fine.

I am thinking the T-51R will win in anything involving HP output at x psi, but are either it or the T-88 that much better than the T-78? How unstreetable are they, since I plan on this being my car everyday, not just at the strip. Lag is important to some people, but I'm not as whiny about it, for the right kind of power sacrifices must be made. Thanks.

If you plan on spending only 5k, I hope you have upgraded your fuel pump, injectors, computer at a minimum; a clutch would be a next.

I meant 5k on the single itself and the installation of it alone. All the other stuff will be taken care of.

I hope you realize how much 600 horsepower is. You might want to put wings on your car after your done. Little side note for you engineering gurue's:

600HP = 450,000Watts
Thats 6,000 Light bulbs at(75Watts/each)
