Turbonetics... anybody given these a thought
What about say... a t70 bb with 1.15 AR and Qtrim or a t72 bb with 1.15 AR and Qtrim.... Are we talking huge turbo lag... on a extended streetport... and a secondary bridgeport help spool time. But wouldn't this not matter for drag racing because you will be reving the engine and dropping the clutch when you are in the boost so there will be no lag... OR am I wrong in assuming that there will be no lag when you rev it up... I am throughly confused. But anyways. How would each of these turbos respond... And has anybody run either of these.
And finally how would this turbo compare to a t51 kai or spl(bb).

T78 is a great drag turbo and is very streetable. I love mine, and have no problems. if you are in a high gear then your gonna have lag, but if you keep your rpms at around 3500-4000 you should have no problem with lag and it will just spool right up on the street. When your drag racing you will be right in boost off the launch and usually may only partial throttle through first and second anyways.

yeah this thread is really old, almost 2 years, anyways since its back up again, Im seeing most people say Greddy T-78 turbo is a great turbo for fast times on the track as well as a great casual driver with minnimum spool. No one really mentioned the T-88 turbo from Greddy though, just wondering.....
