Wich fuel pump would be better????

Hi guys, I have a street porting engine (RX7-1993) with a T-78 Turbo Kit. I have read your conversations about the fuel pumps and I would like to know your technical opinion about using "dual Walbro" or one "Aeromotive"
and how should I install it??? (one or two lines??)

Waiting for your reply......Rafa

I would choose one large one over two small ones any day. There is less chance of failure.

Unless your hand is truly forced, don't let money be the deciding factor. Cheap and RX7 don't go together. If you go for the cheap option, and you have any sort of problems later, you're going to feel like an ***.
The fuel system is one place that you shouldn't look to skimp out anyway.
I would go for a big single, maybe with a smaller backup later.
........just my 2 cents.

The OEM Supra pump is supposedly rated to 500 hp but I would say this is crank HP and not at the AF ratios you usually try to run on a rotary.

I had a Supra pump but it seemed to run out of juice right around 410-420 rwhp as the fuel pressure started dropping. Others don't seem to have run into this problem, this is just my experience.

I think the only disadvantage with going with something like the A1000 is the noise, it sounds like a bloody blender! Oh ya, it's gonna cost you to make all new lines too.

You mean kinda like our Jap stock radiator, ast, insane rats nest and so on??? Those are all Jap

Or maybe you mean more like our Jap trim pieces that break when you touch them

The fact that its Jap doesnt mean anything.

I am currently running a cosmo pump, and have run 20 psi on it. I plan to add in my stock fd pump in parallel.
