Wich fuel pump would be better????
Hi guys, I have a street porting engine (RX7-1993) with a T-78 Turbo Kit. I have read your conversations about the fuel pumps and I would like to know your technical opinion about using "dual Walbro" or one "Aeromotive"
and how should I install it??? (one or two lines??) Waiting for your reply......Rafa |
I would choose one large one over two small ones any day. There is less chance of failure.
|
Neither go with a single Nippondenso.
|
go with the twin walbro cheap and work! had the setup for a while now.
|
Unless your hand is truly forced, don't let money be the deciding factor. Cheap and RX7 don't go together. If you go for the cheap option, and you have any sort of problems later, you're going to feel like an ass.
The fuel system is one place that you shouldn't look to skimp out anyway. I would go for a big single, maybe with a smaller backup later. ........just my 2 cents. |
i went with a denso no probs and straight drop in. plus it is jap. oem parts so you know its good!!!

denso meaning the oem supra TT pump?

I think the only disadvantage with going with something like the A1000 is the noise, it sounds like a bloody blender! :crzyeye: Oh ya, it's gonna cost you to make all new lines too. |

I am currently running a cosmo pump, and have run 20 psi on it. I plan to add in my stock fd pump in parallel.
