That's common knowledge about the log manifold not having the hole center's cast in the correct position for the 13B.HKS is great, they hiked the price of that manifold about $100 bones not to long ago to boot..

Very few manifolds, intake ot exhaust and associated pipes ever match up perfect.
That is why I always take time to match up adjoining parts, and clean up rough welds in all my car parts.
Attention to detail = power!

WOW, what a revalation, the 300.00 manifold isn't perfect LOL. Since plenty of guys are making 350-500rwhp on this manifold, and since most FC owners are poor, I think it's a fine product for the money. Mine needed about 1/10th of an inch of material removed to be port matched, it creates far less heat than a tubular manifold, it makes as much power, and boosts as quick as the 500.00 SFP "divided" manifolds, what's the big deal. Want an optimal manifold, build it yourself. I have yet to see a truely optimal manifold offered in volume, there simply isn't a market for such a piece for the FC. There are twenty guys on this forum that could build one, know just how they should be designed, and nobody does it, cause once again, ther is no market for a premium manifold for a twenty year old car worth 3500.00. Anyway, I think the most interesting part about this thread is the number of people who are suprised by the lack of quality control....
