whoa, SC+Turbo setup
man.. I really doubt this is possible to run properly, the image speaks for itself.
My friend showed me this earlier and I was thinking about it alot.
Can you even compress air twice? if you can with that setup, wouldn't it detonate most indefenitly?
Is this even possible to run reliably? You could have the low end with the high end for power.. or could you?
you guys are the experts, so tell me what you think
I personally don't think it would work at all.

you can have it run somewhat like a "march super turbo," one of the few factory cars fitted with a "twin blower," on that the supercharger provided the air up until the turbo kicked in, then exhaust gasses would flow only to the turbo.
if the above setup worked something like that, you wouldnt see such extreme temps, and get a good spread of torque through out the rev range.

That's not a running motor.
It might be just a display item just to impress passer-by'ers.
I think that's a Jackson Racing SC.
If it is, it has a vacuum actuated bypass.
I would think when the turbo gets into boost, the SC would just bypass.
It is not compound boost.

That set -up would actyally work, but they are missing a water-to-air cooler in the intake pipe. It works like this: The S/C would boost down low, and also spoole the turbo quicker. Then the turbo would push against the S/C rotors and help then spin and also possibly add more psi to the equation. The car would have a strong top end charge as long as the S/C was not restricting the turbo flow, which shouldn't because the S/C usually sucks in air and still makes good top end boost, but now the air is being forced into it and it should help it be even more efficient up high.
Sorry for the long last sentence..... =)

Will u do me a kindness?

Sure it's possible. HKS use to even sell a kit for MR2's called HKS Twincharge that used a supercharge and turbo. Not really worth all the trouble IMO, but neat none the less.

Keeping the SC active and in-line all the time isn't a very good idea.
The SC rotations are fixed via the belt and the pulley sizes.
Blowing onto the SC doesn't make it spin faster.
It's still working against the pulleys and the belts which mechnically couple the engine crank and the SC together.

Just if anyone is interested

HKS did it by a "bypass" route.
350hp + out of a 1.6L engine is awsome.
