Who sells PROJAY Lower Intake Manifolds?

Looking for a PROJAY lower intake manifold for a 93-95 RX7. Do you guys know who sells them or and who has them in stock?

I know the Jaguar Store on ebay sells them but he doesn't have them in stock.

Thanks.

Thanks, I emailed him about the lower intake manifold. That's all I need since I'm going with a blowthru carb setup.

Hey I just got one of the those and the quality was terrible. The runners don't match up with the flange and the flange isn't perfectly flat. Go with a Racing beat or the real one instead.

The one that Jaguar store sells is the one that Allen has on his RX-3. It's well made, and the one I 'll be running on my 1200 Datsun. I e-mailed him about 2 weeks ago. He was out then, but said he was expecting a new shipment in a couple weeks. I wasn't able to find them anywhere else. I think the one that KG sells is an actual PROJAY. The one from Jaguar store has no brand name or markings at all on it. Nice Corolla BTW! I'm with Allen, back half that thing and get some real rubber under it!

Yeah, I'm waiting to hear from the guy at the Jaguar store. I'd back-halve my car if I needed to but I don't. The fastest I'll probably want to eventually go is 8.50 and a 10.5 tire/mini tub combo is plenty for that

Ever watch the outlaw 10.5 cars ? 2500 WHP 3,000 lb mustangs on a 10.5 tire. They don't call it the freak show for nothing.

The "Jaguar store" intake is a very nice piece. It has MUCH larger runners than the jay pro,jay tech, and racing beat intakes. Trust me, the ports are huge and there is lots of meat to go bigger. I matched my TB to the intake and it has 1 7/8 throttle plates in it. This is a pic that i took after porting only one of the runners.

Yeah outlaw 10.5 is one of my favorite classes to watch. It's amazing to see those cars make a really good pass, right at the edge of out of control! 8.50's should make for a very exciting ride, keep us posted!

Yes the ones we (www.KGParts.com) sell ARE Pro-Jay. Whoever Jaguar store is... they are copies. I have no idea of quality or performance of them so I can not comment. From the picures I have seen, they are not exact copies.
Unfortunatly Jay has closed the foundry for an undetermined amount of time and for reasons noone needs to know. There is no ETA on any real pro-jay manifolds coming back to production. We have a few left around but I am holding onto them for projects around here. If anyone is interested on getting on a mailing list that is blasted out when a few become available, please send us a request to be added with your name, email and what motor you were looking for. A few pop up around the shop from time to time....

Can't you just make one? It looks very simple, BUT im pretty sure the runners play a vital roll on making power and PROJAY probably has already gone through the R&D.

If anyone has questions about these manifolds/throttle body you can ask me, I have been through hell trying to get mine right and still have problems with it. I have an FD. I hate to bash this product cause the guy who makes them is really decent, but I had ALOT of problems with it.

Ditto, I had alot of problems too. Hell, Demetrios has his FD go down in flames because of the poor design of the injector brackets holding them in place. Anyways, for the FD, it makes no sense. There's no plenum which is the problem with our stock UIM. Your best to just cut the lower, welding a plenum on at that point with an adapter plate for a large throttle body.

Well Ernie, I think everyone should trust your decision. The only reason I have the projay is I got ripped off buying a 20B, and already sold all my 13B parts! AAAHHHHHHHHH

If I'm not mistaken Jegs sells a 4port lower intake made by a company called JW performance. JW actually sells both 4 and 6 port lower intakes for holley style carbeurators

Buy directly from JW, it's cheaper and faster.

Ernie, that was the old setup, the "new" ones is somewhat different; but thats not to say that your idea of cutting the and welding the OEM manifold is a bad idea.
