A closed mouth never gets fed they say. So if I keep my mouth shut and dont ask questions to learn then I always be just a ignorant "noob" even when I am old to the game i'll just be "old ignorant noob". Well I guess somebody needs to be the ignorant noob so that the "old experts" can get their kicks and jack off on themselves in what they know or what they think they know. Well enjoy your littl **** mates, I hope you get your climax soon enuff and you feel good about your achievements.

Hmmm!
I do hope you know I did not classify you or anyone else as a 'Noob'. As far as I care we are all 'noobs' in some way of the other. If it came across as that then I apologise. I was actually making fun of myself as being old in the game not to you as being a 'noob'

No, I was joking. That was my point about this thread.

I'm not sure I follow you. I say less efficient as in a stock port engine doesn't more air through it as efficiently as an engine thats been ported. The ported engine will more more air.

I think what he's asking here fella's is...assuming a proper tune and supporting fuel system, AI & turbo. How much reliable power can you put down in your daily driven FD 13B motor with ONLY a heavy port job done to it. (rotors, seals, E-shaft, and housings all being completely stock)

So....i'll start first and predict that figure to be just under 600RWHP. With 550RWHP being the conservative mark.

The porting doesn't dictate how reliable it will be at this level. The tuning and proper fuel support are the most important things here on the 3rd gens 13brew. The older 13b's need more attention. The stock Mazda components can stand up to alot more than what people think.

1. There aren't any aftermarket rotors.
2. Stock e-shaft is proven to hold up at this level.
3. Even the stock apex seals can do it.

It's all in the tuning and fuel delivery.

His post was just dripping with sarcasm. I believe he was ribbing you for pointing out the obvious.

I know you can make alot of power without modding the engine, i'm just looking for examples as "proof" for someone who wont believe me.

I sware though, I thought I saw a thread where someone dynoed over 600whp on stock ports.
