Who has made 600whp on a stock engine?

I know there was at least one person on here, but i cant find the thread, who did 600whp with stock ports stock engine. Anyone else made 600+whp with just porting alone and nothing else?

You can do it, but why? Your powerband would totally suck.

I don't think the powerband would be that bad with the right setup.

Internally on a 13brew there isn't really a limitaion at that level. These blocks have the extra casting around the dowel areas to make the engine more solid. I'm not sure about the FC 13bs. You mainly need enough fuel, enough air flow, and a spot on tune. An unported engine will need more boost to achieve what a ported engine would do at lower boost because the non ported engine will be less efficient at moving air through it.

More restriction = Less Efficient?!?!?!? NO WAY!!!

You mean to tell me I've been losing power by FILLING in my ports all these years?!? No wonder my builder looks at me like an idiot when I ask him to fill them in!!

I mean no other internal modifications other than porting like clearancing, balancing, different apex seals, upgraded bearings dowelling etc.

Thank you for your sarcasm.

That contradicts your original post.... Instead of getting upset for people being "sarcastic", you should have been more specific with your question. Or just search for the answer because its all over this forum.

I know i've seen a thread where someone made 600whp on a completely stock engine. I just couldnt find it. Thats the main reason for making this thread.

Also I wasn't getting upset. I don't get upset over internet sarcasm, unless I don't pick up on it.

Also, I said 600whp on a stock engine, not a stock fuel system, or turbo, or exhaust etc.

But thanks for your help anyway.

I was talking about the fact that in your first post you said "stock" ports and then in post #13 you said "other than porting"....

Stock ports could do it assuming that everything (clearances) is right inside the motor. I have heard that doweling/studding isn't mandatory till you go over 700 hp. But then again i am sure the tune has EVERYTHING to do with that.

Well, other than porting, my engine is stock too. This thread is pointless. If your motor is out and you want more power, why the hell woudn't you port it?

Ernie, you made the 752rwhp on the stock seals and completely stock E-shaft?

YES, that is correct. Stock seals, E-shaft, rotors, housings, irons. Everything.
