Where to hook up Profec on single turbo?

I know that the OUT goes to the waste gate. Does the IN go to any source of boost/vac or should I put a little fitting on the intercooler pipe coming right of the turbo for a reading there, that is if thats where the IN should be. Any help would get great.

Thanks Guys

2 of the hoses go to the intake manifold. One goes to the boost controller. I'm pretty sure that's what the manual says. I don't have it right now because I lent it to my friend.

oh lord
the out goes to the wastegate
the in goes to a non vacuum boost source, like a fitting right into the outlet of your turbo.. most people split air from there to the stepper motor in, and to the non vacuum boost source of your wastegate since its close. the hose that goes to the profec-b itself you can run from your upper intake manifold through the firewall

Turbo outlet pressure --> side port of wastegate and the "IN" port

"Out" port--> Top port on wastegate

Ah, much more understandable than my Japanese instruction manual.

Don't forget to change the setting on the dip switches to work with an external wastegate.

I just installed the XS T04E turbo kit this weeked. It came with an HKS wastegate. I have a Blitz DSBC. I hooked up the "out" hose to the wastegate. I hooked up the "in" hose to the intake manifold (plenum). Is that right??? I can't keep my boost under 1 bar. What am I doing wrong? I adjust the switch on the Blitz DSBC to external wastegate. Help...Mad Power, but too maddening

Let's see!
On the Profec---->
OUT---- Goes to the top of the wastegate.
IN------ T's with the hose that's connected to the side of the
wastegate that normally goes to the nipple on the
front of the turbo.
The last hose goes to the back of the control unit and that should be connected to a vacum/pressure source on the intake manifold just the same as the BOV or FPR would be connected too.

The BLITZ DSBC, The BLITZ DSBC....It just has an "IN" and an "OUT". I think I will need to check my HKS wastegate again. I didn't know that you connect anything to the top of the wastegate? I just connnected the "OUT" to the side of the wastegate. Is that wrong. Gotta control the boost....
