Where does the Alum heat shield from the RX6 kit go?

I am a little more than halfway through the install, but I can't figure out where the aluminum heat shield goes. I know about the steel one for the turbine, but the aluminum one has me baffled. I don't see its installation mentioned in the installation instructions anywhere. It is aluminum and has two aluminum brackets riveted to the back of it.

I checked Poweraxel's single turbo pics site hoping I would see it installed but no luck.

Where does it go?

Thanks,
-Max

I think I just spotted it in one of the pics. It looks like it goes on the left side of the turbo along the inner wall of the engine comparment. Is that right?

Thanks,

Max, i can tell you ..i installed that turbo kit twice...
That duct is used for Japanese spec (RHD) RX-7's....its suppose to connect to the brake booster section, makeing a heat shield there.. My friends and i never put it on, you could try bending it to fit on the ABS shield

Poweraxel,
Do you have Dyno sheets for any of those RX6's?
I know Max is hoping for 450rwhp but the claims I have seen is for 450HP not RWHP so 380RWHP? I want a real 450 at the wheels so I think this turbo may be a bit small, unless someone can show me proof that it is good for more power. Doesn't "Chuck in Seol" run one?

Chuek got 417 RWHP on 89 octane pump gas at 15 psi, and he runs it at 18 psi at the strip sometimes. I would think that that would put him up around 450 RWHP.

I am shooting for 400 RWHP at 15 psi, but I'm certainly not going to be upset if it makes 450 (doubtful). XS suggested that I would get 390-400 or so.
