Wheel Trim?

Can sombody please explain the difference and benifits/disadvantage of the O, P, and Q trim wheel. Im trying to research and understand the various types of turbos . I am looking at a T4/TO4R which is offered in the three different types. Here is the link

O,P, and Q

The O,P, and Q designates the diameters of the inducer and exducer of the turbine. Which is related to the flow capability of the turbine.

As the picture shows the O is smallest, and Q is largest. P is the most common. Unless the 10% added flow of the Q is necassary the P is probably a good choice. In the circumstance were you are looking for used turbine or t-hsg due to upgrade or damage the P-trim parts will be easier to find.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong: The trim (compressor or turbine) is the square root of the exducer flow area over the inducer flow area.

i.e. this is refering to "54 vs 60 trim compressor" (or turbine). the t series turbos use the o, p, and q to effective communicate the same info which is flow capability.
