What's A "V-Mount" Intercooler?

I've seen some recent posts on the forums about "v-mount" intercoolers. Can someone explain to me what this means? From the limited pictures I've seen, it looks like the intercooler is mounted horizontal behind and above the radiator... true? What part of this arrangement is "v" shaped?
Confused...
Thanks,
-Bug

VMIC gets the name from the configuration sitting like a open "v" into the air stream. So in essence it would look like this..... >. It allows for a unobstructed flow path to both the RAD and IC.
