I have a Tial 46mm wastegate but it has been brought to my attention that it is not to be used with leaded race fuel. This sucks because I will be running VP C16 which is leaded. Well if this is true what wastegates can be used with leaded race fuel. I wish that their site stated this fact I emailed them yesterday but still no response.

I've been doing some searching on the Tial wastegates and leaded race fuel and found somethings. For some reason the 38mm wastegates are the only ones that come with a warning label not to use leaded race fuel with it. The valve is different than the other larger wastegates that Tial offers. If you have a 38mm wastegate and want to run leaded race fuel you can contact Tial and they have a replacement valve for $40.00 for use with leaded race fuel. Man that was a relief for me to find that out. I thought that I would have to sell my 46mm Tial and I didn't want to it's a beautiful piece. There are plenty of racers out there that are using the Tial 46mm wastegate and leaded VP C16 with no promblems.
